Print4All makes its Fiera Milano debut in 2018: a new major event for print technologies


Milan, 18 May 2016 – The first edition of Print4All, a show spanning all commercial, publishing and industrial print technologies, was presented to the trade press today. The event runs at Fiera Milano between 29 May and 1 June 2018.

Encompassing three full supply chains – commercial/publishing, packaging/labelling and industrial printing – this major event is set to become Europe and the Mediterranean basin’s benchmark for the industry.

The event combines three historic Italian Fair brands, Grafitalia, Converflex and Inprinting, to bring together rotogravure and flexo technologies for printing on packaging and labelling, offset and digital technologies dedicated to commercial and high-volume printing, and printing technologies (screenprinting, pad printing, inkjet and digital) for industrial printing. This initiative is a result of a strategic alliance between ACIMGA (Italian Manufacturers Association of Machinery for the Graphic, Converting and Paper Industry), ARGI (Italian Association of  suppliers for graphic arts industry) and the 4IT Group (a company that has been monitoring Graphics and Communications Industry markets for more than ten years, developing skill sets to foster industry growth), along with Fiera Milano, the top-tier Fairs partner that has been commissioned to use the brands and stage the events.

An Original Market-led Solution. Industry associations will be in the control room, overseeing the staging of Print4All, setting the strategic guidelines and being responsible for curating Show content. As organizer, Fiera Milano will be able to leverage a direct channel of communication with the relevant supply chain players.

Print4All debuts an innovative format, taking an integrated approach to the business community of buyers for commercial printing, converting, package printing, labelling and industrial printing, and presenting them with a complete range of offerings accessible in new and modern ways.

Andrea Briganti, Director of ACIMGA, says: “We have been thinking about a new approach to a Fair that comes as close as possible to meeting visitor expectations. To make more informed and aware investment decisions, the market is keen on venues that ensure good representation for the panel of suppliers. As important as the presence of machines may be, Print4All will not however be a Fair at which visitors have a blinkered time. It will be a wide-open space, a great many parts that form a whole, cross-pollinating in a way that reflects today’s modern marketplace.

Enrico Barboglio, Secretary-General of ARGI, adds: “The entire event has been designed to help visitors and exhibitors optimally do the most useful thing they can: build relationships and business. This process begins with the pavilion plan, conceived to ensure a fluid flow between the technology exhibited along the three main verticals, along with the other planned initiatives. As well as machines, visitors will be able to get hands-on experience of applications in order to assess the quality, precision and the feel of output, enhancements and applications in the sectors of packaging, labelling, commercial printing, transactional communication, Industrial Printing and 3D. Workshops at the Fair will be streamlined, effective and useful, conceived to convey in-depth technological information, best practice and market scenarios. Quality is guaranteed by the direct relations the Associations have built up with the economic and industrial fabric of the sectors involved.”

Together, these different aspects of Italian excellence form the “Innovation Alliance”, an event that, on the same dates in adjacent pavilions, is set to showcase the finest technologies and solutions for responding to the needs of players along the entire industrial processing, printing, packaging and logistics supply chains.
