The importance of optimizing finishings
image
The quality of finishing is fundamental in order to ensure a more even quality of printing. At Print4All important companies in the sector will showcase their solutions, including versatility, productivity and workflow optimization

According to Pat McGrew, a well-known American analyst, consultant and workflow expert, the quality of finishing is fundamental, whether it's for simple applications or more complex ones commissioned from printing companies.

If the finishing processes are not taken care of in the smallest detail, not only the aesthetics, but also the functionality of the printed product can be affected. It may seem trivial, but it is necessary to pay the uttermost attention to the choice of finishing systems to be placed side by side with printing technologies, always bearing in mind that in addition to performance in terms of required functions, formats and productivity, it is essential to think in terms of workflow optimization. What are the trends today?

As Tecnau reminds us, on the occasion of Print4All will exhibit its products at the stand of the reseller Forgraf, versatility is a must even when it comes to very productive machines. The flagship solution to be proposed by the two companies, starting from the reel - typically produced by high-speed inkjet presses, performs slitting and accumulation and is suitable for applications ranging from editorial to commercial and transactional printing. This system will be highly visible as it will be demonstrated in operation during trade show days.

A wide range of finishing solutions will be presented at the Tosingraf stand, which will see the debut of some new products mainly intended for the packaging market, such as the innovative Uchida Aero die cutter. Characterized by a new concept, it combines all the advantages of a digital system, i.e. simplicity of setting and use, with the productivity, quality and functionality of traditional die-cutting. In fact, in addition to creasing, perforating and cutting, it also offers the possibility of carrying out dry surveys. This is joined by a new digital flatbed die-cutter in the 90x120 format and two new multifunctional systems for traditional die-cutting. Last but not least, some solutions for lamination produced directly by Tosingraf with Mamo brand.

Still from the postpress segment, Quadient, which represents a wide range of finishing brands, is preparing a major new product that will make its debut at Print4All. But that's not all, there are several companies that will be exhibiting the latest generation of finishing systems at the fair, which we will disclose in future updates.
