Over 400 trade operators, 26 speakers, 15 industry associations, and 50 foreign delegates from 17 countries: these are the figures recorded at the Print4All Conference, held last July 11 in Italy, in the heart of Valpolicella.
Organized by Acimga and Argi – the main Italian association of the printing market - in collaboration with Fiera Milano, the Print4All Conference was an opportunity to analyze the economic and technological scenario, rediscover the value of collaboration among supply chain operators, and gather feedback and insights that will be reflected in the content offerings of Print4All 2025, the event that will take place next May at Fiera Milano.
Speakers from major industry associations, international experts, as well as printers, creatives, and brand owners took the stage to discuss a supply chain that, despite facing unprecedented conditions - COVID-19, material shortages, general slowdown, and destocking - sees Italian production standing out among European and global excellences in all segments, representing a significant share of the Italian GDP (1.3%).
In particular, examining the production data of printing critically, it is revealed that the growth from 2021-2023 was much higher than usual: while it is true that 2022 ended with +10.6% and 2023 with -2.6%, these figures should be seen not as absolutely negative but as a readjustment after enormous growth.
And on the technological front?
Sustainability, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence solutions are revolutionizing the sector, combining higher speed, reduced footprint, lower energy consumption, and enabling predictive maintenance and workflow optimization.
In light of this, what can we expect to see at Print4All 2025? A printing market that, thanks to important investments in innovation and the ability to facing challenges like rising energy costs and raw material shortages, is healthy and constantly evolving. With a focus on sustainability, automation, and digitalization.
